TOKYO - March 20, 2019 - MyDearest Inc., a Japanese VR game developer, releases TOKYO CHRONOS on Mar 20th, 2019 on Oculus Go, and SteamVR.
The project had its crowdfunding campaigns on CAMPFIRE, a Japanese crowdfunding platform, and Kickstarter, and raised over $180,000 in total.
This VR game has multiple-choice decision points as well as more than one ending. It has a long story you've never experienced before with VR. The game takes place in Shibuya, Tokyo, which has only eight people, including you, the protagonist, Kyosuke Sakurai. Why are they there? How can they break out of the enclosed world? More than that, what is the reason causing this strange phenomenon? Can Kyosuke solve the mystery and get out of the silent Shibuya?
Haruki Kashiwakura, who was in charge of 3D motion director for Expelled from Paradise, directs the game. Sword Art Online producer Kazuma Miki joins this project. Anisong singer Eir Aoi sings the theme song UNLIMITED.
