TOKYO - Sep 24, 2021 - ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos, the sci-fi, anime-style adventure with a twisting narrative and difficult player choices developed by the industry professionals at MyDearest Inc., launched its DLC, ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos EPISODE YAMATO, on SteamVR, and PSVR on Sep 24. The DLC was initially released on the Oculus Store for Oculus Quest on June 10, 2021.
The main story, ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos, was released on the Oculus Store for Oculus Quest and Rift devices on Dec 3 in 2020. Since then, it has won the 2020 Famitsu/Dengeki Award in the Adventure Category and become one of the top-rated apps on the Oculus Store. After that, the SteamVR version was released on Feb 18, and the PSVR version was released on Apr 15 in 2021 respectively.
Two hundred years after the events of the first game in the series, TOKYO CHRONOS, colossal aliens known as Meteoras have driven humans into the underground city of Augmented Tokyo. Amassing their forces to fight back, human armies deploy Makhia, giant mecha mounted with Rail Cannons powerful enough to destroy the alien invaders.
Play as Lieutenant Chloe, an advanced android and humanity's best chance at returning to the surface. Fight in exciting mech battles alongside Noa, an AI assistant who resembles Chloe's departed friend, Coco.

In the DLC, ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos EPISODE YAMATO, you will play as Second Lieutenant Yamato Amanagi, a member of Prometheus and pilot of the Ares Makhia. Chloe tries to escape from Prometheus with Anima, but Yamato stands in her way carrying the hopes of his comrades - to bring her back or die trying. The Swordstrike system, the awesome power of Ares Makhia's sword, will provide you with new interactive experiences, taking approximately 2 hours to complete all of the story branches.
ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos EPISODE YAMATO is now available for SteamVR for $9.99, the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 for $9.99 featuring English and Japanese voice acting and Chinese (Simplified), and French subtitles.
